Jordan Paul was born and raised in the City of Zanesville, Ohio. He moved north after accepting an athletic scholarship from The University of Akron to join the Track and Field team as a thrower. He specialized in throwing shot put, discus, and hammer and helped his team win five indoor/outdoor MAC Championships. Jordan went on to graduate UA in 2014 with a Bachelors of Art degree in Art Education and Magna Cum Laude Honors.
Even though Jordan no longer competes competitively, he has continued his passion of working in the weight room. Jordan combines knowledge from his teaching experience and his athletic career to motivate others on achieving their own athletic and fitness goals through coaching and personal training.
Jordan has been a member of Personal Wellness Center since the Winter of 2017 and joined the PWC team as a trainer in the Spring of 2018. Jordan finds helping people reach their personal fitness goals to be very rewarding. Holding himself and his clients to standards of hard-work and discipline, he is a firm believer that great things can be accomplished with a little sweat and determination.
